Towne Square Shopping Center

Towne Square Shopping Center is a 140,000 square foot shopping center that is comprised of 17 tenants. The shopping center was built in 1966 and has been owned and operated by the Bewley family since 1969. It remained Greeneville’s largest shopping center until 1989, when the Greeneville Commons was built.

Several original tenants – Central Drug Store; McInturff, Milligan & Brooks Insurance; Palace Barber Shop; and The Sewing Center still continue their businesses in Towne Square. Towne Square maintains a remarkable 95-100% occupancy.
